The Root of Jesse
1And there shall come fortha rodout of the stemof Jesse,and a Branchshall growout of his roots:

2And the spiritof the LORDshall restupon him, the spiritof wisdomand understanding,the spiritof counseland might,the spiritof knowledgeand of the fearof the LORD;

11And it shall come to pass in that day,[that] the Lordshall sethis handagainthe second timeto recoverthe remnantof his people,which shall be left,from Assyria,and from Egypt,and from Pathros,and from Cush,and from Elam,and from Shinar,and from Hamath,and from the islandsof the sea.
12And he shall set upan ensignfor the nations,and shall assemblethe outcastsof Israel,and gather togetherthe dispersedof Judahfrom the fourcornersof the earth.
13The envyalso of Ephraimshall depart,and the adversariesof Judahshall be cut off:Ephraimshall not envyJudah,and Judahshall not vexEphraim.
